DJ's

I was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Zephyrhills, FL when I was seven. I got my first guitar when I was 8 and have been a musician since. I've always been  interested in music. I played in a country rock band in the late 80's thru the early 90's. I gave up the bars and night clubs in 92 and since then, I've been involved in writing and recording music in my studio. I am currently working on a long term project with a friend from the old bar days. Basically, he writes the songs and I do all the music. If anyone is interested, you can find his songs on all the streaming platforms and Youtube under the name, Carolina Renegade. How's that for a cheap plug? LOL.

After moving to Pickens in "96", Charlie Biagiotti and I decided we were gonna try our hand at radio. I found a private server that allowed me to do just that and we started a Saturday night radio show for our friends. It went ok for a while but people kinda lost interest in it. Now, down to the meat of it! 

About 6 months ago, I decided I would start to develop a full on radio station for the Pickens community and the surrounding area. W.R.P.K Radio plays 70's and 80's rock with local news and community announcements, etc. I always welcome input from the Pickens community so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to reach out to us at wrpkradio@gmail.com.

I was raised in the great state of Florida, mostly in Tampa and a little known (at the time) town called Zephyrhills. After graduating from Zephyrhills High School, I came across this dude named Karl Bayles, who was heading up a little band called Eastwind. I ended up becoming part of the band, and Karl ended up becoming my best friend! 40 plus years later, here we are, coming to you via WRPK Radio in Pickens, SC! I’ve done a lot of DJing for parties and such. Radio is new to me but I love it! Hope you love it too, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!
